Message In A Bottle…
When I had a severe case of cottonmouth for a few years I always had a water bottle within my reach. After awhile it became a natural accessory so much so I felt uncomfortable if I wasn’t holding onto a bottle. It became a security blanket of sorts. “What do you do with your hands when you’re just standing there if you don’t have a water bottle to hold onto?” “What do you do when you don’t have anything smart or funny to say and you don’t have a water bottle to take a sip from just to fill the awkward void of dialogue.” Somewhere, I weaned myself off my water bottle dependency and reflecting on this past year, I think I have had 5 bottles of water.
